And you’re also in a Disney Movie. Avalon High. It comes out tomorrow and it’s about Ellie Pennington – that’s me – she’s a teenager who moves to this new city. She comes in contact with a young man and she gets a little bit of a crush on him, but of course he has a girlfriend and of course he’s like all-American football player amazing amazing, and she’s like, oh okay.

That always happens. Yeah, I know! So it’s a mystery and Meg Cabot, who wrote the Princess Diaries, wrote Avalon High.

You’re from both Carolinas – what’s your favorite Southern food? My favorite Southern food is chicken and dumplings. I jump on it like nobody’s business. I can do a pretty good job making it, but not the best job.

Who makes it the best? Cracker Barrell makes the best chicken and dumplings. I tell my friends here in LA and they do not understand that Cracker Barrell is like my favorite restaurant!
